Tony met again with John Birdsall, author, to have Indian food. Chef Preeti Mistry described the dishes to them and discussed Indian food in America. They ate Manchurian cauliflower which Preeti described as “vegetable candy”, bhel puri (puffed-rice dish), chili paneer, yogurt-marinated chicken curry served on rice, Indian Scotch egg (the Scotch egg was invented in India).

Tony had chicharron, cabeza, and chorizo tacos.
